I'm a big fan of prudent planning for worst case scenarios. Nuance is the order of the day.

But these statements from Stephen Harper are contradictory at best.

Prime Minister Stephen Harper said on Monday that the Canadian banking sector is not in crisis

Prime Minister Stephen Harper said Monday the government is considering "secondary" plans to stabilize the Canadian financial system

The worst case is he has no fucking clue.

Its the Liberal's Fault!

Another minority Parliament would be disastrous for the economy, Prime Minister Stephen Harper warned Friday.

Just vote Conservative and all will be well. The economy hinges on who's in power, not what is happening out there in the rest of the world.

Just in case you thought we participated in the global economy and all that.
