It's funny because it's true. When I was hiring, the most valuable criteria for any IT Position was were they good at word problems in math class? If yes, they'd be good at IT. No other education required. (I.e. University or Community College are a waste of time.) The person in my group I consider second most talented (after me of course) never went to college. He just started working in IT straight out of High School.
