Good for the Ontario Government!

Ontario gov’t won’t release employee Internet records

Damned straight they shouldn't.  Releasing this information is akin to the Ontario government releasing annual employee reviews, disciplinary notes, all e-mails sent by employees, etc. etc.

Yes working in the public sector puts you under more of a microscope, (which is one reason why I will not take a job there) but employee internet access is strictly an issue between management and the employees.  Good god, are we entitled to put cameras in every government employee's cubicle so that we the public can monitor how much work they do?  If you answered yes, you need to slap yourself up the side of the head, hard.

And if you disagree, I want you to make public every website you have visited in the last 24 months.
